Wednesday & Thursday without the computer
You just never know how much you rely on a computer until a program crosses another one and then you call and talk to someone that is suppose to lead you to the right place to correct and need I say more on being on the phone and trying to do exactly what you think they said!!!
Oh well, if all goes right we will be having a sale tomorrow and Saturday. We have some beautiful yarns that will be on sale.
We have really cute earrings, stitch markers, with bracelets (sheep).

Sockology 101-102-103
Mandi's sock classes have been such a great hit that we started another session of 101 and it will continue to run 101, 102, and 103 throughout the summer months. Socks make such a great summer project to knit simply because they are easy to stash away in one's yarn buddy (which happen to be on sale in the shop). Socks on the go! It just so happens that Mandi teaches Magic Loop top-down, toe-up, and two socks on circulars. If you happen to ask Pat what technique she likes the best in knitting socks, it is top down magic loop, while I will certainly answer toe-up and I want to do two on two circs. Mandi and Julie will knit socks anyway even if they need to use chop sticks! They are both are talented knitters for sure and great teachers....

Happy Easter and here comes more storms
Monday is supposed to bring more rain and storms so I hope everyone stays safe. Hope everyone had a good Easter Egg Day. Ours was spent nursing the sick here with both Bailley and B . J. being sick and let me tell you Maggie and I have been keeping our distance, while waiting on two men! I sure hope neither one of us manage to get what they have.
I have been knitting today on a new scarf and trying to get the flowers attached to the wrap I have been doing. I know we have more colors in the 2nd time around cotton comming to the store this week. I am anxious to see all the colors. The February lady sweater is just great and I think it will be easily knit in the cotton....However, I also think it would be beautiful in Maggi's linen.

Stitches South
For the first time Stitches www.knittinguniverse.com will be held in beautiful downtown Atlanta, GA. The Neighborhood Knit Shop will have their debut with Maggi Knits.
April 23-26th. The shop will still be opened with many classes and fun things going on with Amy, Mandi, & Julie.
I am so glad that we have a number of knitters from Tennessee going to Stitches Market.
Friday was quite a day at the shop. We listened to the radio, watched Channel 4 News feed on the computer and waited for the weather to pass. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the people in Murfreesboro who lost their homes or were touched by the storms in any way.
We also feel the loss of our local newscaster, Dan Miller, who died on Wednesday in Augusta, Ga.
